We stayed at Hostal La Calzada for a night and were pleasantly surprised by the incredible quality and standards for a one-star hostel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the building well maintained and clean, and our room, though small, had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and disinfected properly. The central location made it easy to reach the beach by foot. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay.
Do recommend this hotel.

The hostal is in a prime location, right in the heart of the action. Everything was within walking distance - the beach, shops, and restaurants. the receptionists were friendly and always ready to help with any questions or concerns. the twin room I stayed in was clean and spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. the hostal had a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that made my stay enjoyable.
In the evening and early morning, there wasn't any hot water available. Although this was a temporary issue, it was not pleasant after a long day of travel and spending time at the beach.

Great place to stay if you're into ruins, Morocco, horse riding, and whale watching. And who needs pets anyway?
Who needs a kitchen or a spacious room when you can eat tapas and sleep cramped? So thoughtful.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hostal in the heart of the city. The room was clean, spacious, and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, with the beach, shops, restaurants, and bus station all within a short walk. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Despite a minor inconvenience of intermittent hot water, the overall experience was exceptional. We highly recommend this hostal for its central location, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere. a great choice for a stay in Tarifa.
